For the last pre-law event of the semester, Sharona Hoffman will present a talk titled “What is Law-Medicine?” on Friday, Nov. 1, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in Sears Building, Room 356.
Hoffman, the Edgar A. Hahn Professor of Law, professor of bioethics and co-director of the Law-Medicine Center, will address the challenges ahead for professionals entering into fields at the intersection of law and medicine. Such careers range from bioethics to government regulation of health care providers.
The talk, sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Studies, is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided.
