Learn about Fulbright Program opportunities at Feb. 20 info session

As part of the Center for International Affairs’ Global Talk Spring Series, faculty and staff members are invited to learn more about the Fulbright Program, the flagship international educational exchange program designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.

Debra Egan, director of Scholar Academic Partnerships at the Institute of International Education (IIE), will lead the session about the program and selection process on Thursday, Feb. 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Tomlinson Hall’s Large Conference Room 135. Lunch will be provided.

She will also be available for eight 20-minute meetings from 1:40 to 4:40 p.m.

The Fulbright Program provides participants—chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential—with the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.

RSVP by Feb. 18. If interested in scheduling a one-on-one meeting, provide specific availability times between 1:40 and 4:40 p.m. Meetings will be scheduled on a first reply, first served basis.

Lunch will be provided.
