Professor Daniel Flannery to discuss community violence prevention at Feb. 12 talk

Daniel FlanneryDaniel Flannery, the Dr. Semi J and Ruth Begun Professor, will present “Opportunities and Challenges in Community-based Violence Prevention” as a part of the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods Lecture Series.

Flannery’s talk will take place Wednesday, Feb. 12, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the BioEnterprise Building (11000 Cedar Ave.).

Flannery’s primary areas of research are in youth violence prevention, the link between violence and mental health, and program evaluation.

A light lunch will be provided.
