The Leadership Journey Series will continue Nov. 21, with Janice Eatman Williams, assistant director of the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning and director of Project STEP-UP, a tutoring and mentoring program serving at-risk youth in Cleveland Public Schools.
Eatman Williams will address how people can become leaders by serving the community and how involvement in civic engagement can help develop leadership traits and characteristics that can be applied in more typical academic settings.
The free event, organized by the Student Leadership Journey Council’s Leadership Journey Series committee, will be held Nov. 21, 12:45-1:45 p.m. in Nord Hall 310B.
