Sharona Hoffman, the Edgar A. Hahn Professor of Law, soon will publish a paper and recently spoke about the intersection of law and health care and aging.
Her paper, titled “Big Data and the Americans with Disabilities Act” will be published in Hastings Law in 2017.
In addition, she recently gave the following presentations:
- Panelist for a discussion titled “Law, Medicine, and the Right to Decide” at the Jewish Law Symposium, in Whippany, New Jersey, in September.
- Panelist for a discussion titled “Boomers Planning for the Future: Knowledgeable Professionals in Aging, Elder Law, Medicare, and Housing Will Help You Improve Your Tomorrow” in Middleburg Heights in September.
- Keynote speaker at “Celebrating Women” event in Cleveland in September. She gave a talk titled “Aging with A Plan: How A Little Thought Today Will Help You Improve Your Tomorrow.”
Hoffman is also a professor of bioethics and co-director of the Law-Medicine Center.
