Law’s Sharona Hoffman speaks out against mishandling of electronic health records

Health care data of 1 million N.J. patients compromised since 2009
Nj.com: After a data breach of electronic health records in New Jersey, Sharona Hoffman, the Edgar A. Hahn Professor of Law and professor of bioethics, expressed concern over the handling of health care data by hospitals. “Just because you’re doing a risk assessment doesn’t mean you’re going to find the problem and you’re gonna solve the problems that you find,” she said.
