Sharona Hoffman, the Edgar A. Hahn Professor of Law, professor of bioethics and co-director of the Law-Medicine Center, recently presented on ethical issues in the medical field.
At the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics’ Health Law Professors Conference in St. Louis on June 6, Hoffman presented “Citizen Science: The Law and Ethics of Public Access to Medical Big Data.”
She also presented on her book, Aging with A Plan: How a Little Thought Today Can Vastly Improve Your Tomorrow, at a book launch at Coventry Village Public Library in Cleveland Heights on June 14.
Hoffman gave a talk titled “Ethical Issues in Health Information Technology,” at the CWRU Medical School Ethics Day on June 18.
