Raymond Ku, professor and the Laura B. Chisholm Distinguished Research Scholar at the School of Law, discussed the landmark Second Amendment case taken on by the Supreme Court in an op-ed piece published by Slate.
Ku argued that if the Supreme Court rules in favor of the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, they would implicitly elevate the Second Amendment above the protections guaranteed by the First Amendment.
