Ohio transit agencies face high hurdles in quest to reduce carbon emissions

Columbus Dispatch (subscription required): Miranda Leppla, director of the Environmental Law Clinic at the School of Law, discussed some of the barriers for transit agencies looking to curb carbon emissions. “The majority of emissions are coming from single-occupancy vehicles,” she said. “Making (public transportation) as convenient and accessible and interesting to the general public so they’re shifting toward public transit is really, really critical.”
