International court gets first African female head prosecutor
Los Angeles Times: Fatou Bensouda became chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court—the second person to hold the title, and the first African and first woman to do so. Regarding her new position, Michael Scharf, director of the Frederick K. Cox International Law Center, said: “She just exudes this warmth that [predecessor Luis Moreno-] Ocampo didn’t have. I think that will be her secret weapon.”
