New texts show FirstEnergy allegedly working with Gov. DeWine to pass House Bill 6
WEWS: Michael Benza, professor of practice at the School of Law, explained that Gov. Mike DeWine’s claims that the investigation into the House Bill 6 bribery scandal are “politics as usual” could backfire. “It certainly has the appearance of (quid pro quo), but there’s no smoking gun in this type of a case yet,” Benza noted, “but I think they have to be worried.”
