Federal appeals court upholds conviction of Householder in public corruption case
Ohio Capital Journal: Michael Benza, professor of practice at the School of Law, noted that a federal appeals court upheld the convictions of Larry Householder and Matt Borges in Ohio’s largest bribery scandal. “This argument could appeal to the president,” Benza said, citing President Trump’s belief that the Department of Justice unfairly targets Republicans. Householder is now seeking clemency.
