The Plain Dealer: William O’Neill, a candidate for the Ohio Supreme Court who refused to take campaign contributions, ousted incumbent Justice Robert Cupp. Little is known about O’Neill’s judicial philosophy, though, said Jonathan Entin, the David L. Brennan Professor of Law. “I think it’s clear that O’Neill is no shrinking violet and he will put his stamp on the court, but it’s hard for me to assess exactly what that will be,” he said.
