Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law, noted that a recent filing by the judge overseeing Donald Trump’s documents case could be favorable to Trump, as it instructs the jury to leave out possible scenarios that could find guilt for the former president. “The order might give Trump a get-out-of-jail-free card by allowing the jury to decide whether some or all of the documents at issue were either personal or declassified,” Entin said.
