Penalties for libraries and felonies for librarians up for debate in two Ohio bills
WVXU: Jonathan Entin, the David L. Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law, discussed two pending bills in the Ohio legislature that would make it easier to charge school librarians—as well as faculty at all levels (including private colleges and universities)—with making obscenity available to students and also to go after public libraries and librarians for having material that is “harmful to minors.”
