Northeast Ohio community, education leaders react to HB616, with some comparing it to Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ law
WKYC: Jonathan Entin, the David L. Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law and adjunct professor of political science, said that the newly introduced Ohio House Bill 616 bill is reminiscent of a Florida measure dubbed by opponents as the “Don’t Say Gay” law, combined with anti-critical race theory laws. “If this bill were to pass, I would expect a lot of teachers and school districts would be quite concerned about what they are allowed to do under this law,” he said.
