Munroe Falls, state of Ohio fight in state Supreme Court over power to regulate drilling locations
ideastream: The Ohio Supreme Court now will decide whether the placement of oil and gas wells are determined by state or local governments. According to Jonathan Entin, the David L. Brennan Professor of Law, “If it’s a broad ruling that says that the state law preempts local regulation, there really isn’t going to be much for the communities to do as a legal matter.”
