Judge continues to block Ohio K-12 public education overhaul, setting off ‘crisis,’ governor says

Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law, discussed a Franklin County judge’s decision to issue a temporary restraining order to block lawmakers’ attempts to overhaul Ohio’s K-12 education system. “The legal question is: what’s the line between the constitutional provisions that protect the independence of the state board of education and the legislature’s discretion to structure some of the day-to-day responsibilities?” Entin said.
