Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law, said that a Cincinnati lawmaker’s failure to disclose a personal connection to a convention center during a vote on its transformation was a mistake. “There’s another way to think about this, which is the optics,” he said. “Voting on something in which a parent has a financial interest doesn’t look good.”
