Law’s Jonathan Adler examines Supreme Court decision relating to to Environmental Protection Agency

Supreme Court further erodes EPA’s power
The Wall Street Journal (subscription required): Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law and director of the Coleman P. Burke Center for Environmental Law, discussed the Supreme Court’s decision that limits the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority over wetlands, the latest in a series of decisions reining in federal agencies. “The decision is important because it really curtails the scope of federal regulatory authority over wetlands,” he said. “That’s going to be a relief to small landowners in particular.”
