After the Trump Administration released its most recent list of judicial nominees, Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law and director of the Center for Business Law and Regulation, assessed what the motivation for several appointees could be.

Adler argues that three particular nominees diverge from the trend thus far: All three candidates were endorsed by the democratic senators of their state.
