Supreme Court denies request to pause EPA rules cracking down on methane emissions
Washington ExaminerJonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, commented on the Supreme Court’s decision not to hear challenges to the Environmental Protection Agency’s rules limiting toxic emissions. “These denials are not remotely surprising,” he said, noting that the court only intervenes when agencies significantly overstep their authority or mishandle regulatory issues.
