2 years after Texas’ SB 8, advocates reflect on its impact across the US

Green Professor of Law, explained the landscape of reproductive rights in the state of Texas after a law passed banning abortion and offered a $10,000 reward to citizens who sues a person for performing aiding in an abortion. “It was designed to get around Roe v. Wade by using private citizens as enforcers, thus ensuring that no public official could be sued,” she said.
