The Plain Dealer: Jessie Hill, associate dean for research and faculty development and the Judge Ben C. Green Professor of Law, discussed a Texas-style abortion law that would authorize people to file civil suits for $10,000 or more against those who perform or help a woman get an abortion. “There could be a question about where the line is there, but in general, under the First Amendment, giving truthful, factual information is just right at the core of the First Amendment right,” Hill said.
