Law’s Jessie Hill contributes to abortion rights dialogue

Jessie Hill, associate dean for academic affairs and the Judge Ben C. Green Professor of Law, contributed to the dialogue on abortion rights through various outlets over the past few months.

In a February editorial for The Daily Caller, she wrote about the burden placed on women when “Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers” laws are instituted. Read the opinion piece.

She also co-authored an amicus brief in the Supreme Court case of Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt with I. Glenn Cohen, assistant professor of law at Harvard University, and Melissa Murray, professor of law at University of California, Berkeley.

On the state level, Hill delivered an oral argument before the 8th District Court of Appeals of Ohio in Preterm v. Kasich.
