Law’s Craig Nard questions the validity of historic policies still used in Major League Baseball

Craig Nard, the Galen J. Roush Professor of Law and director of the Spangenberg Center for Law, Technology & the Arts, School of Law, wrote an opinion piece for Cleveland.com detailing the outdated nature of wild-card team selection in Major League Baseball.

In his article, “There is too much ‘division’ in Major League Baseball,” Nard examined the “unbalanced” nature of divisions within the MLB and how it may compromise the integrity of the game.
