Cedar Point passholder lawsuit heads to Ohio Supreme Court, seeks refunds for pandemic-shortened season
The Plain Dealer: Cassandra Burke Robertson, the John Deaver Drinko-BakerHostetler Professor of Law and director of the Center for Professional Ethics, discussed a lawsuit against Cedar Fair, the owner of Cedar Point, about whether the company should have offered refunds to season passholders in 2020, a season cut short by the pandemic. “Courts are struggling with this,” she said. “The most common response has been to dismiss a lot of the breach of contract cases. This was unforeseeable, not in anybody’s control.”
