Law’s Cassandra Burke Robertson appointed to Uniform Law Commission study committee

Photo of Cassandra Burke RobertsonCassandra Burke Robertson, the John Deaver Drinko-BakerHostetler Professor of Law and director of the Center for Professional Ethics, was recently appointed to the Study Committee on Garnishment of Wages in Bank Accounts by the Uniform Law Commission (ULC). The committee will examine the circumstances surrounding potential legislation on wage garnishment, the process of deducting from wages to pay a debt and usually to satisfy a court order.

Robertson was additionally appointed to the ULC’s Ethics Working Group.
