Right Idea: New VA council aims to address inclusion, equity issues
USA Today Magazine: Bryan Adamson, the David L. Brennan Professor of Law and associate dean of diversity at the School of Law, discussed the Veterans Affairs’ (VA) establishment of the Agency Equity Team, also known as the I*DEA Council, to ensure the VA delivers on its promise to provide world-class care and benefits to all who do business with them. “Given the VA mission and the demographic it serves—a substantial minority clientele—having caregivers who reflect those demographics is imperative,” Adamson said.
