Estate of Superman co-creator sues Warner Bros., possibly jeopardizing Cleveland-shot film’s global release

Schroeder Jr. Distinguished Research Scholar and associate director of the Spangenberg Center for Law, said a new lawsuit from Joseph Shuster’s estate has legal merit under copyright reversion laws, which could block Superman’s release in some countries.
