Freshwater Cleveland: Ayesha Bell Hardaway, assistant professor of law and co-director of the Social Justice Institute, discussed the effects of institutional racism in the criminal justice system. She will evaluate the progress of the Ohio Criminal Sentencing Commission in determining whether court sentences are in line with state law and to ensure that sentences are fair and proportional.
