Law’s Ayesha Bell Hardaway commented on Ohio’s attorney general’s denial of the rape of the 10-year-old girl

‘He’s got the crime statistics in front of him.’ By Dave Yost questioning on Fox News the rape of 10-year-old girl, other victims may not come forward, advocates say

cleveland.com: Ayesha Bell Hardaway, associate professor of law and co-director of the Social Justice Institute, said that Dave Yost, the state’s attorney general, was “irresponsible” to question the story about a 10-year-old Ohio girl becoming pregnant as a result of rape. “Attorney General Yost knows that there are numerous crimes throughout this state that don’t rise to his attention,” she said. “And it only served his own political interest to mislead the public that there was something wrong or something to be discredited by this story. It’s pure politics and not the business of law enforcement of protecting victims in the state of Ohio.”
