Law’s Andrew Geronimo weighs in on new court records about Fox News stars

New court filings show that Fox News knew election conspiracy theories were false
NewsyAndrew Geronimo, director of the First Amendment Clinic at the School of Law, weighed in on new court records showing Fox News stars privately blasted the election fraud claims they publicly peddled. “The First Amendment protects a lot of speech, even some false speech,” he said. “Certainly there is a contrast between what they knew and what they said, and would certainly fall within First Amendment’s protection unless those statements were knowingly made or reckless, with regards to falsity.”
