Court OKs dismissal of police chief, Beachwood’s anonymous emails case
Cleveland Jewish NewsAndrew Geronimo, director of the First Amendment Clinic at the School of Law, discussed the clinic’s victory in a case allowing a commenter’s identity on social media to remain anonymous. “As the court found, there is a strong First Amendment interest in anonymous speech, and also all of the statements at issue—including our client’s—were protected opinions,” he said.
