Chardon Local Schools bans ‘thin blue line’ flag after football player carries it on field
WEWS: Andrew Geronimo, lecturer at the School of Law and director of the First Amendment Clinic, noted that First Amendment rights are in a gray area in school settings, such as at Chardon Local Schools, which banned displaying the Thin Blue Line flag. But Geronimo also noted that the school district missed an opportunity to have an informed discussion on the topic.
