Anat Alon-Beck, assistant professor of law, wrote a piece about a visit by Hester M. Peirce, a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) commissioner and a 1993 Case Western Reserve University alumna, to Cleveland last month.
In the piece, published in Forbes, Alon-Beck recalled Peirce’s discussion at Blockland Solutions. Peirce discussed the nature of financial regulations as significant innovations are made.
