Business Insider: Anat Alon-Beck, assistant professor of law, noted a couple possible outcomes if Twitter wins in court against Elon Musk for pulling out of his bid to buy the company, one of which is Musk paying a $1 billion fee. “Damages are probably the better course of action from the company’s perspective,” she said. “We know about the $1 billion—it’s entirely possible that Twitter could get even more for all the damages Musk caused the company.”
