Biden to give legal status to 500,000 undocumented spouses
BBC: Aleksandar Cuic, director of the Immigration Clinic at the School of Law, discussed President Joe Biden’s new policy that would protect hundreds of thousands of undocumented spouses of U.S. citizens from deportation. “A good majority of them [would have] to leave the country in order to come back lawfully,” he said. “It’s like they physically enter the U.S., but their immigration ‘soul’ doesn’t come with them.”
