Los Angeles Times: A recent study co-authored by Aaron Perzanowski, professor of law, found that many users believe they own digital content when they “buy” it and are able to use it in the same way they would a physical product. “The reality is that for many digital transactions, there are restrictions on activities you might think come with ownership,” Perzanowski said.
