Law school’s Jonathan Adler listed as eighth most-cited public law scholar

Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law and director of the Center for Business Law and Regulation, is the eighth most-cited public law scholar—excluding constitutional law—in the U.S., according to research conducted by University of Chicago law professor Brian Leiter.

Adler is the only scholar among the top 10 under 50 years old; he is one of just four scholars under 50 on the list. Between 2013 and 2017, the period for the ranking, Adler was cited 620 times.
