Avidan Y. Cover, professor of law, and first-year law students Alicia Mallo and Leah Rothfel co-wrote an opinion piece published on cincinnati.com describing why the Supreme Court should not hold the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program unlawful.
The article, titled “Deporting DACA recipients would be a loss to the nation,” explains that the court will most likely allow DACA to be rescinded. It emphasizes that going a step further to deem the program unlawful would be harmful and inconsistent with past rulings.
