School of Law professor Jessie Hill recently completed four speaking engagements and two articles for publication. She was an invited panelist for the “Panel on Maternal-Fetal Issues” at Southpointe Hospital in Cleveland Oct. 17 and presented “Public Bodies, Private Reasons” as part of the UCLA Friday Faculty Colloquium Oct. 21. Additionally, she presented “(Dis)owning Religious Speech” at both the UCLA Legal Theory Workshop Oct. 20 and the Temple University Law School Faculty Colloquium Oct. 26.
Her article, “Point/Counterpoint: Public Funding of Reproductive Health Services” will appear in Debates in Health Care in 2012, and her article “Medical Decision-making by and on Behalf of Adolescents: Reconsidering First Principles” in the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy in 2012.
