Dr. Ted Castele, 87, was nation’s first TV news doctor
The Plain Dealer: Following his passing Aug. 23, Ted Castele(ADL ’51, MED ’57) is remembered for his role as the nation’s first TV doctor and his contributions to the School of Medicine. Castele served as a trustee and assistant clinical professor of radiology. He also led the School of Medicine in a 10-year, $300 million fundraising campaign.
