Last chance to register for next week’s 10th annual Case for Community Day

Registration closes today for the 10th annual Case for Community Day, held next Friday, Oct. 19, beginning at 11 a.m.

All university staff, faculty, students, alumni and friends are invited to dedicate their day to service—whether leading a fitness class for seniors, working on a landscaping project or painting a home.

Since the event’s inception in 2002, approximately 2,000 students and 2,500 employees have taken part in Case for Community Day.

Individuals can sign up, or an entire department can take part together; for example, a team of 20 volunteers is sought to help landscape the Dunham Tavern Museum—the oldest building on its original site in the City of Cleveland, dating back to 1824. Other projects still needing volunteers are cultivating and preparing gardens for the winter at neighboring agencies such as the Hope Lodge, Magnolia Clubhouse, the Children’s Museum of Cleveland and the McGregor Home.

But hurry: Today is your last chance to get involved. Visit students.case.edu/partners/caseforcommunity/ now to register.
