Members of the campus community are invited to attend a four-week Chinese course taught by Duan Liu, a language expert who currently teaches English to Chinese students at Southwest University of Political Science and Law, one of the top law schools in China.
This course will include pronunciation of Chinese sounds and words, reading skills and considerable practice speaking Chinese. By the end of the course, participants should be able to be understood in airports, taxis, hotels and restaurants, as well as in legal and business meetings.
Classes will be held at the School of Law Mondays through Thursdays, June 4-28, from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost is $1,995.
