“Labor and Liberation”

The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts and Sciences will host Zophia Edwards, assistant professor of sociology at Johns Hopkins University, for a talk Friday, April 28, at 10 a.m. in Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 108.

Edwards will present a lecture titled “Labor and Liberation.” Edwards’ research examines the impacts of colonialism and multiracial labor movements on state formation and economic and social development in the Global South.
