To celebrate the nearing of Easter and Brazil’s FIFA 2014 World Cup hosting gig, La Alianza will present “Carnaval Brasileiro 2014” on Saturday, March 29, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the Thwing Center atrium.
Julia de Burgos Dance Studio and a samba band will give live performances. Attendees also can enjoy semi-traditional Brazilian food, music, a FIFA video game station, face painting, a make-your-own-mask workshop, dance lessons and a mini soccer station.
