The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will host a presentation on women faculty and discrimination Thursday, Oct. 6, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248.
Donna Davis Reddix, faculty diversity officer in the Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, will give a talk titled “Knowing Your Rights in the Workplace.”
She will explore common discriminatory practices in the academy and provide attendees with comprehensive information regarding protected rights.
The topics of discussion will include:
- Implicit bias;
- Salary equity;
- Gender discrimination; and
- Sexual harassment.
