Kleinerman Lecture speaker to address new insights on pulmonary hypertension

Serpil EzurumSerpil C. Erzurum, professor and chair of the Department of Pathobiology, will discuss “Pulmonary Hypertension: New Insights into Pathogeneses and Rationale for Therapies” at the 14th annual Jerome I. Kleinerman, MD, Lecture.

The lecture will be Thursday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Wolstein Research Building auditorium, followed by a reception.

Using a multidisciplinary creative approach, Erzurum has sought to enhance prevention, treatment and cures of lung diseases through research and the development of innovative clinical programs for treating patients.

Erzurum also is a staff physician in the Respiratory Institute and director of the Cleveland Clinic Clinical Research Unit.
