Kids with the common cold don’t need a doctors’ visit, says Medicine’s Sharon B. Meropol

Reuters: Sharon B. Meropol, assistant professor of pediatrics, epidemiology and biostatistics, talked about how it is unnecessary for kids with colds or other common viruses to visit the doctor. “You can feel really crummy from a virus, but the symptoms of fever and runny, stuffy nose and cough by themselves aren’t dangerous for the child,” she said.
